EDIT: Bleh, I can't be bothered to list the things I changed about this. It looks better now, methinks. Is that good enough? A billion new textures. (cgtextures.org) EDITEND/
I'm not quite sure if this is finished yet.. I can't decide what's missing, but if I add anything, it becomes too cluttered. Harrumph.
This is a parting gift for and of my art teacher, whom I've become very attached to in the last six months. Last year and earlier this year, I used to think he really didn't like me very much at all, but I actually came to discover that it was the complete opposite. Timely enough for me, because he's leaving the country next January. T_T
But I'm glad at least that I got to develop a friendship with him because he's the best guy ever! Seriously. He's so quirky and adorable, and he was really supportive of me this year. So much so that I topped Art class for the entire year and he presented me with the subject medallion at my school's speech night.
Yep, I am really gonna miss him when we both leave at the end of the year. I've already gifted him with a thing or two, but I just can't thank him enough for all he's done for me this year. I'm gonna cry at my school graduation. ):

Art (c) me, and if you ever though of nicking this, then that's reeeeeeeally low. Y'know? Nicking a gift. That's just.. lower than low, man.
Texture from bittbox. I may update this when I figure out how I truly want it to look...
I adore the paper cut-out style of this piece! One thing that bugs me a teeny bit is that blue rainbow curve... it's sorta wonky. But only on close inspection, but that's what I'm drawn to do with this piece since it has so much stuff in it. It really draws the eye into the colored arches, and then my OCD eye sees that wonky little stripe...
Otherwise, a job well done mate!

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
